I believe O'Reilly cannot be traded until February of next year, so I don't think that one will happen.

If management took Lazar over Lindholm (assuming he was still around), I would catch every rabbit in my neighbourhood and strangle them one by one. That pick would epitomize the retardation we've dealt with over the past number of years! Thankfully, I don't see them being THAT dumb.

7. Draft Zadorov, Nurse or Risto and let them play in the A or junior next year. If they are gone, then Monahan will still be there. Nichushkin could really drop with the Russian factor and fall right to the Oil.
8. Please stop. At least know the rules before you talk. Nashville is not paying out 1/4 of Webers contract value and then trading him....ROR cant be traded. The Oilers wont over pay for a player this summer when teams will be giving some guys away to get under the cap.

gagner will not be moved for a pick.
he either gets resigned long term or we move him for an immediate roster player.
most likely the former.

hemsky wont be moved for middling pick either. he either gets moved in a package for someone that can step in right away or he stays.

we dont need more picks and in the process actually get worse and furthur from our goal than we were this year.
we have a good first and 2 seconds. we dont need MORE.
i say put those picks in play for roster players, but either way, dont move nhl'ers for MORE 18 year olds..

we put in all this time and patience with gagners development and as soon as he puts up numbers and proves hes a true number 2 guy, we move him for a pick??

How are either Bozak or Weiss considered "big top-6 forwards"? Neither are big and neither plays big. Gagner stays unless you're packaging him for a guy like Spezza or Thornton (proven top line C).

Gagner man, Horcorf gets the A, Eberle loses the A (Great player, he deserves to have it but look at this season. It's sorta like a Jynx, that Hemsky had last year) Hall keeps the A.

Look guys, I don't even know why Clouts is still the blogger, he's like a (frank)ing Roller Coaster, but ignore him about the draft (keep ignoring him). We can do this. Remember our 5 game winning streak

3-0 St.Louis, 6-4 Columbus, 4-0 Vancouver, 4-1 Calgary, 8-2 Calgary (We won).

If we can get that going again look at this: We need to go 7-1 to make the playoffs, right?

7-5= 2

2-1, 2-1!

Win at least 2 of those games and we have at least a chance.

Exactly how it should be. If they just miss, even better. Make them hungry. They have world class skill, but its going to take time for them to learn how to win.

Why Gagner, Gagner has been our best player, yes better then Hall. He is consistent and doesn't give up in games...
